What kind of work do you usually make? 

I am a fiction writer and new media installation artist interested in language and storytelling. I like to combine words with visual forms to explore our world's ontology versus epistemology--the way things are compared to the way such things are measured and recorded.

Any projects on the horizon?

Currently, I'm exploring technology and interaction design within my work. I have several projects lined up, including an illustrated novel and a collaborative musical based upon the periodic table of elements. You can find out more about my work at www.monicanickolai.com.
